Thank you to all those who came to the Parent Meeting last Wednesday! If you were unable to come, we'll be putting together a video for you to watch. We're hoping to get that sent out this week.
Musical SignUpGenius Putting on a musical takes a community. We ask that each student has one family member (can be parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or older sibling) contribute 4 hours of time for the musical. We have created a Drowsy Chaperone SignUpGenius to sign up for volunteer opportunities. Please note: there are some things that need to be fixed on the SignUpGenius. There is no Matinee performance or a performance on March 9th. Also the double dress rehearsal day is on a Thursday. Our teachers have meetings and are unable to do a dress rehearsal on a Friday. Leaving Early & Absences If your student needs to leave rehearsal early or is going to miss a rehearsal, please be sure to fill out the Drowsy Chaperone Attendance Form. This helps us know how to best help your student and save them spots in the dances. Remember, students are only allowed 3 unexcused absences. Students should learn what they missed from another cast member. We're willing to answer questions, but we unfortunately don't have time to re-teach music & dances to individual cast members. If you've planned a special surprise trip, please let us know about that ASAP by email or via the form. Drowsy Chaperone Music The music to practice with at home will all be posted on the Music page under Musical on the website. The first song posted is "Fancy Dress". Students are to be working on learning that song. Ms. Emily is working on creating another music file where the bottom part is played along with the music. Rehearsal this week The only ensemble group called this week is the Wedding Guests. 10/28 Monday 3-4pm
November paper calendars will be out in the hallway by Ms. Dallimore's room on Wednesday. Be sure to pick one up! Comments are closed.
