3. Parent work day: Saturday from Oct. 8th from 8-1pm. We will be working on set building and painting- thank you to those who are signed up and don't forget to wear your grubbies :)
4. Thank you to all of you who've signed up on SignUp Genius! We are still in need of a few major positions to make this show a success. Some of the positions we are in most need of are below:
   -Ticket sales people the nights of the show
  -Concessions Co-Chairs:  simple as having parents donate water and treats or purchasing the items with our musical funds or both. We have a Lobby Décor Committee and people are signed up to sell, we just need people to head up the committee and get it organized and product out to sell.
  -Costume Committee: people are the co-chairs, they just need help on costume check day and          double dress rehearsal
-Boys' Dressing Room Attendants- supervise 1 night of the show 
-Elementary Performance Coordinator- contact local school for Dec. 6th performance
-Hair and Makeup Committee- help do hair and makeup and 1 night of the show

Now, this does not mean we won’t ever email you, but our hope is that these posts will make it easier to find weekly information. We can’t stress enough for you to sign up for our REMIND app notifications. Ms. Thompson sent out an invitation and we need parents signing up. We won’t bombard you with texts as these are short, helpful reminders. Thank you and she will send out the invitation again.
If you want to see the rehearsal schedule for the week or month, go to the calendar and, click on the day and it will show you how long rehearsal is and what days cast members need to be here. There are changes this coming week due to Parent-Teacher-Student-Conferences so please check the calendar and see below.

We are taking apart last year's set to make room for the new Matilda set and could use parent help tonight from 4:30-7pm. We are also cleaning out another sea crate if we can get enough parent help. We appreciate your assistance! We can't do this show without our amazing parent volunteers!!! Thank you :)

We could really use parent help tonight (Sept.13 4-7pm) to help us clean and organize the large set pieces in the sea crates outside the school. If you can help from 4-7pm we would really appreciate it and it will help us to be able to clear the stage for the Matilda set. Thank you! 

Matilda Jr Musical Parent Information 
Parents, we appreciate those of you who came to the parent meetings this week to get information on how the musical operates. One of the things we discussed was the necessity of parent volunteers. We ask at least 1 parent volunteer for a minimum of 5 hours to help make this show a success because we can’t do these shows every year without our amazing parent volunteers. A weekly email is sent out on Sunday nights to help keep you in the know about current musical information. This Tuesday Sept. 13th from 3-7pm we need parents, siblings, and any able bodies, to help us clean out set and props pieces in the sea crates, located in the back parking lot, to make room for emergency items for the school and community. A parent/guardian for each cast member needs to attend one of the 2 parent meetings this week. In this meeting we will explain expectations and how to best help your student succeed in the musical.
